Nick McCalmont-Woods acquired IFRS Foundation’s lease on the GF (west) in 30 Cannon Street in 2006. At same time IFRS Foundation instructed Nick to negotiate a new reversionary lease (effective from September 2008) on the Foundation’s other lease in the building on the LG, GF (east) and First floors.

I am writing regarding the excellent service and support that Nick McCalmont-Woods provided our organisation. Mr McCalmont-Woods was instrumental in the acquisition of new space and in the extension of our lease on existing space in 30 Cannon Street. We were able to explore a broad range of options in a relatively complex situation and in ensuing negotiations. This preparation, I believe, led to an extremely satisfactory outcome for the IASC Foundation.

In 2011, 2013 and again in 2016, IFRS Foundation instructed Nick McCalmont-Woods to represent and protect its interests in the rent review negotiations with its the landlord at 30 Cannon Street.

Nick represented us several years ago and again for a recent rent review for our central London offices. He was very knowledgable, analyzed our situation and took time to educate us as well. As a result we were in a very informed position when the landlord attempted to stall negtiations. Nicks views and his advice were ultimately spot on. More importantly, I think we reached a fair resolution for all parties as we have another rent review coming up with the same landlord. I would highly recommend Nick.
